A platform built on
patience and soul.
We named ourselves after Moroccan tea. This is not a coincidence.
What does
Marketeang mean?
The name is a quiet play on words. Marketing — the discipline. Atay (أتاي) — the Moroccan word for tea, the country's most profound daily ritual. Together: Markete-atay, or Marketeang.
It is not a slogan. It is a philosophy embedded in the name itself. Because we believe that good marketing, like Moroccan tea, cannot be rushed. It requires preparation, presence, and genuine care for the person on the other side of the cup.
We did not choose tea as a brand aesthetic. We chose it because it is the closest metaphor we know for the kind of marketing we want to practise — and the kind of world we want to build in.
the second as strong as love,
the third as bitter as death."
We believe marketing is,
at its best, an act of hospitality.
Human creativity first.
Technology accelerates. Culture endures. We design every system, every strategy, and every piece of content around the irreducible human element — the voice, the story, the intention that no algorithm can manufacture.
AI as leverage, not replacement.
We use artificial intelligence the way a craftsman uses better tools — to do more with precision and less time. We never let it replace the thinking, the judgment, or the genuine care that defines our work.
Depth over volume.
The internet has enough content. We are interested in the kind that earns a second read — the kind that changes how someone thinks about their work. One piece like that is worth a hundred pieces of filler.
Roots as advantage.
We are Moroccan in our cultural foundation — and that is a strength, not a limitation. The Moroccan tradition of hospitality, patience, craft, and oral storytelling informs everything we build. Specificity is how we reach the universal.
Marketing as culture.
The brands we admire most are not those with the largest budgets — they are those that contributed something to culture. A framework worth sharing. A story worth retelling. A product worth defending. We build toward that standard.
Long-term thinking always.
We are not interested in the shortcut that costs the brand next year. We are interested in the investment that compounds for decades. This is reflected in our writing, our services, our systems, and our tools.
We built this because
something was missing.
When we looked at the marketing industry — the blogs, the courses, the agencies — we saw a great deal of competence and very little soul. Frameworks without philosophy. Growth without meaning. Content without a point of view.
We saw Moroccan brands struggling to articulate what made them distinct — and global brands struggling to feel real. We saw AI being used to produce more mediocrity faster. We saw urgency being manufactured where patience was needed.
So we built Marketeang as the thing we wanted to find but could not. A platform that thinks seriously about marketing as a cultural and human practice — that offers tools and systems grounded in genuine strategic thinking — that writes about creativity with the respect the subject deserves.
It is still early. The tea is still brewing. But the intention is clear.
"We are not here to sell. We are here to sit with you — like tea — and help you find the words your brand has been searching for."
— Marketeang Manifesto
"The best marketing is indistinguishable from genuine generosity. We build toward that standard every day."
